This was the perfect spot. You can go up on the top of the building and enjoy the ocean, and easily go downtown and grab coffee, breakfast, or groceries. There were easy directions posted to help you in the unit. The only thing that I would suggest would be a darkening curtain for the window facing the plaza  (as an option). One night all of the lights were on at the Plaza due to an event. I did have to hang a towel and a sheet to keep the bright lights. This is a nice, clean, and safe place to stay

I absolutely love Isla Mujeres! Been here many times over the past few years and I have stayed at different establishments. This is a very lovely place to stay. It is really nice and clean. The owner and staff were great to deal and talk with. Staff, a little bit of a language barrier but that is something I am working on. I would highly recommend staying here. Close to Hidalgo. Took a bit of a gamble booking this hotel since it didn't have many reviews, and so glad we did! Saw a few pictures that looked really nice and the hotel turned out to be true to the photos. We spent a lot of time by the dipping pool when we needed a break from the sun or crowds. It's small and a true dipping pool but we found it really relaxing. There's also a terrace area that we didn't find till later so be sure to check that out too. We didn't interact much with the staff but only briefly with housekeeping which were very pleasant and the room was immaculate.

This boutique hotel is perfect in every way. Arrival instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We also had the number for Juan if we needed. We stayed in room 1 and enjoyed the private patio, especially while drinking our morning coffee.  The hotel was peaceful and we enjoyed meeting fellow guests.  Everyone was so kind. The rooftop seating area was such a nice place to sit with beautiful views. The dipping pool was perfect and refreshing. Everything you need is here! La Sirenita is located in an ideal location, just above the Malecon and short walk to Playa Centro and Playa Norte. The grocery store is a block away. Make sure you check out the delicious places to eat at both ends of the block! I hope to stay here again when I go back to this lovely island!

What a gem this place is … we stayed in suite #3 … the location was perfect for us . We usually stay on the south end . We wanted something easy . This place was exactly what we needed. So many good things about this place , the outside shower , dipping pool, the bed , the rooftop, kitchenette, the staff was sooo helpful and Juan was so quick to respond to any of my questions. This is a very lovely and relaxing boutique hotel that was apartments a long time ago. Great for extended stays. Very close to playa Norte but out of the fray and very quiet at night! Chris the owner is very responsive and communicative. We stayed in January 2025 and again in March 2026. This property is so lovely. There’s a plunge pool, great rooftop, and the rooms are so cute. I can't recommend La Sirenita highly enough. Clean, beautiful, spacious room (3) with everything I needed and more. Juan was such a help when I had a health issue (kidney stone) and needed a doctor, not only did he arrange a house call but he went out to purchase the prescriptions. No way you could beat the value or peace of this place- blocks from the ferry and view of the main square + ocean from the roof- main grocery store within view as well. First time on the island and was scared it would be a horrible tourist trap but with this as the jump off point- loved it. Somehow I was the only guest for all 5 days of my stay which is a little odd, but obviously amazing in some ways. Not sure why the owners don’t air b&b it- it would book up no doubt!
